The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform with Backbone Mounting System in 52-Inch x 56-Inch Size is the platform style roof rack that provides your Wrangler 2-Door tons of cargo-carrying versatility. Specifically, this system comes with a cutting-edge platform design with several T-channels built into its frames and support beams. These channels allow you to install a full range of aftermarket accessories from specialized holders to auxiliary lights. Meanwhile, this rack features an aerodynamic design to give your Jeep a sleek new look. And if not needed, this rack can be completely removed, making it ideal for garages with low ceilings.
Keep Your Wiring Clean. This platform-style roof rack is also designed to allow you to run wiring internally through its frames when installing auxiliary lights. In doing so, this roof rack helps keep your wiring hidden which is ideal for prolonging its service life as well as maintaining a clean look. Moreover, the platform’s corner connectors come with a cutout template designed to permit the installation of a light switch, giving you the option to control the lights externally.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. This roof rack is made from premium aluminum alloy, enabling you to take advantage of the metal’s superior strength to weight ratio. Additionally, this roof rack is precision-machined to accurate measurements, offering a tight fit when installed. Finally, this rack is finished in a chip-resistant black powder coating for additional corrosion protection and rugged good looks.
Direct Install Procedure. This roof rack is designed to mount directly onto your roof using the cutting-edge Backbone mounting system. This system features internal and external mounting brackets connected through the roof. Consequently, you will need to drill some mounting holes through the roof. Other than this step, installation is relatively convenient and will require just standard hand tools to complete.
