Hey, guys. So, today we're checking out the RedRock 4x4 American Flag Mesh Grille Insert in Black and White with a Red Stripe fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers. So, if you're looking for an affordable way to switch up the look of the front end of your Wrangler and add some patriotic styling, this is going to be a great choice to take a look into. So, what I really like about this mesh grille insert is the fact that this is going to have that neutral black and white color. And it's also going to have that pop of red in the middle. Now, that's gonna make the front end of your JK stand out, and it's also gonna match with any other red and black and white color scheme that you have going on on your JK already.Now, this will be made of a wire mesh stainless steel material. So, this is going to be pretty durable mounted up behind your grille, which will be perfect if you're looking for some extra protection to any debris or kick up, whether you're on the street or on the trail for your radiator as well as your AC condenser behind your grille. Now, because it is mesh, it is going to be perforated and is going to allow airflow to and from the radiator and the AC condenser, which is very important for cooler temperatures inside your JK. Now, with that being said, this is gonna come in at roughly $50, making this a very affordable way to switch up the look and the aesthetic of the front end of your Wrangler while you're also gaining a little bit of functionality and protection in the meantime.Now, other options on the page are usually just going to differ by the print. Some may have the American flag, but may not have that red stripe in the middle, which I think is very unique. And some other choices are going to mold to the back of the grille. Some choices for grille accessories may just be trim pieces. And then for the more aesthetic and more expensive options, those are going to usually be the full replacement grilles. Now, in my opinion, again, if you're just looking for a touch of patriotic styling, you're looking for a pop of red color, and some extra styling for the front end of your Jeep while getting some functionality in the meantime, this is gonna be a great choice.So, install is also going to be incredibly easy at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're gonna need one tool to get the job done and probably five minutes to do it. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tool that I used for my install was a flathead screwdriver.So, our first step to this install is to pop our hood, then we can start removing the clips for our grille. So, there's gonna be six clips that are surrounding the top of the grille. I'm gonna take a flathead screwdriver and remove those so we can pull the grille back and off. You can also use a trim removal tool if they're being stubborn. So, we don't necessarily have to take the grille all the way off for this, but I am going to tip it forward and pull it back a little bit. So, what I like to do is just pull out either side. There's a clip right underneath each headlight, and then we'll be able to tilt it forward. Then what we can do is take our insert and drop that down on in. As you can see, there's gonna be a cutout here that's gonna go around our ambient air temperature sensor. Just gonna make sure that this is covering all parts of the grille and it's gonna wedge itself in there. All right. So, it should be sitting on top of the post where your clips are gonna hook into the rad support here, and we can tilt it back and then give it a good push back. Make sure all of those clips are in place. And then we can re-secure the clips up at the top. After that, we can close up our hood, and then we'll be all set to go.So, that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install. Make sure you like and subscribe. Straight Forward Installation. This RedRock 4x4 Grille Insert is designed to be installed behind the factory grille, so it should be noted that removal of the front grille fascia will be needed for installation. Some minor drilling is required to attach the insert to the back side of the fascia with hardware which is sold separately. Installation should not take any more than an hour.

Coverage. A Covered Part has failed when it can no longer perform the function for which it was originally designed solely because of its condition and not because of the action or inaction of any non-covered parts. The benefits available under this Limited Warranty are strictly provided to you for the replacement of the Covered Part(s) which fails due to a defect.
Notification Sent Via Email. You will receive notification of your enrollment in the extended product warranty program via email within 24 hours of placing your order. Please save this email for possible future reference.
No Deductibles Required. There are no deductibles required for use of this extended product warranty.
