Hey, guys. So today we're checking out the RedRock 4x4 Tail Light Guards in matte black, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers. So if you are looking for some mild protection to your tail lights and you're also looking for an off-road look at a very affordable price, this option by RedRock 4x4 is gonna be a great choice to take a look into. Now these tail light guards for both sides are gonna cover the entirety of the tail light and offer some mild protection to branches and brush while you're out on a trail or while you're keeping to the street. Now these will be pretty durable, made of a stamped steel construction so they will be able to hold up to some abuse while you are out on the trail, if you are taking your Jeep off road. And they're gonna have a nice matte black finish on top. Now that powder coating is gonna protect that steel underneath from any rust or corrosion, but it's also gonna offer more of an off-road and aggressive look to the tail light guard itself. Now what I also do really like about this set of tail light guards in particular is the fact that these are very low profile and sit very tight to the tail light itself. That's gonna offer that close protection, but it's also gonna give it a very sleek look toward the tail light guard. Not to mention they are gonna come with everything that you need including longer hardware and spacers to make sure that this sits close, but is not actually touching the reflector or that lens itself. Now with that being said, like I mentioned, these are going to be very affordable coming in at roughly $50 for the pair. And, in my opinion, you really can't beat it for the functionality that you're gonna get as well as the look that you're gonna get with these tail light guards. Now in comparison to some other choices, these are going to be, again, more on the low profile and sleek side. Some other options may be a little bit bulkier, they may come out a little bit farther or the bar design is gonna be more of a tubular design instead of a stamped steel like this option. Now, again, it kinda comes down to personal preference in the design that you are looking for. However, if you're looking for something that's incredibly affordable, that's gonna look very sleek and protect your tail lights in the meantime, this is gonna be right up your alley. Now, as far as install's concerned, I'm gonna give this very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. There's only one tool required for this and it will probably take you about 15 minutes to get the job done. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.The tools that I used for my install are an impact wrench and a Philips head socket. So for this install you are gonna need your tail light guard. You're also gonna need the provided hardware which is four Phillips head screws as well as the spacers. And you're also gonna need a Phillips head socket or a Phillips head screwdriver. So our first step is gonna be to take out the four Phillips head screws that are holding in the tail light as well as the reflector, using a Phillips head socket. Now, it would be mindful that the two on the inside are what's holding the tail light to the body of the Jeep. So the tail light may shift around a little bit once you remove these. So once those are removed, what we can do is grab our tail light guard, grab one of our spacers and grab our provided hardware. Now this is going to be just a little bit longer than the hardware that comes out of the factory. We can just line this up with our tail light and screw it in. Now I am just going to hand thread that in just a tad and then we can get the others installed as well. I am gonna use the bigger Phillips head bolts for the outside. At this point, what we can do is tighten these up with that Phillips head socket. I would like to mention you don't want to overtighten this because it can crack the reflector or the lens on the tail light itself. So just make sure that it's snug. All right. And then once that's finished, we can repeat that same process on the other side. So, that is going to wrap it up for my review and install.
