Meredith: If you're in search of an easy and affordable way to transform the front end of your 2018 or newer JL Wrangler, this RedRock Gladiator Grille will definitely get the job done. Now, this will introduce some aggressive styling to your build perfect for the JL owner looking to stand out and turn some heads. This will also increase some airflow to the front and maintain the mesh inserts to protect the components behind your grille. Not to mention the factory style fit and included hardware will make it very easy to achieve this look with a simple install. Now the grille will be made of a molded ABS plastic material being durable and able to take any light of use for many branches, on the trail, or kick up on the street. Now you'll also see a large-slotted window in the middle allowing you a ton of airflow and the honeycomb mesh will assist just that much more in the stealthy aggressive look they are already getting. Now, speaking of the look, the build with the large brow here the angled headlight cutouts, and the angular design will noticeably stand out while not being super over the top. Now you can also see that this has a matte black finish or a bit of a contrast to the Jeep, you can keep it this way, or you can paint it with the right craft and customize it to your personal preference. Again, this will be an affordable way to drastically change up your JL's appearance at roughly $200.Now, when comparing this to others on the page like it, I like the fact that you're getting some aggressive details without it being too loud. Now, others available in the category will usually take a different twist on the angry grille or may include marker lights or even a light bar for more visibility. Now, I think if you don't need those extra bells and whistles but want a standout look for the front of your Wrangler, then this is a great choice. Now, install will be a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter taking you roughly two hours to get the job done with some basic hand tools. But I wouldn't be surprised if we got it down a little bit sooner. Now one of our customers here has installed this on their Jeep and is gonna walk you through that installation process step by step. So that's gonna wrap it up for me, let's go ahead and get into the install.Kat: So, the tools that I'll be using are fairly straightforward. I have here a flat-head screwdriver and you can also use a plastic pry tool but I don't have one, so I find that this also works. You'll also need a Phillips screwdriver as well.Hi, my name is Kat. And today, I'll be walking you through the installation of RedRock Gladiator grille on my 2022 Jeep Wrangler JL Willys edition two-door. So, let's get started.First, I'm gonna go ahead and pop the hood. Then I'm gonna use my flat-head screwdriver and go ahead and pry out all six of the push pins. And it comes in two parts. So you'll want to remove both parts the inner clip and the outer clip. After that, it's very easy just to go ahead and pull up a little bit on your grille and loosen it from the lower clip, take it right off.And here's a side-by-side comparison. You can see the top one is the standard stock model that came on my Jeep and the bottom is the RedRock Gladiator grille.Inside your box, you'll find your new RedRock Gladiator grille, your weather strip, two extension panels, four Phillips screws, six push pins, and they come in a dual set, as well as eight metal clips, and your instruction guide. So, I don't wanna scratch up the new grille. so, I'm just gonna place it right here on top of this cardboard box that the grille came in. I'm gonna take my eight clips and I'm gonna press them down, and you wanna press pretty hard to get to them on. You have to wiggle it a little bit. The last one.So, next, we're gonna be attaching the extension panel. And you wanna make sure that you have the right one. You can see it's curved and this panel is curved. The taller end is gonna go towards the outside, and it's gonna fit right behind this panel. We're gonna take our screws that came with it and go ahead and screw both of those in. And then we'll repeat the process on the other side. So, now we're ready to go ahead and put our new grille on our Jeep. The first thing you wanna do is line up your metal clips, and it's gonna line up right with the holes on the Jeep. And you're gonna press that into place, the bottom. And then you're gonna have to lift up on the top panels to really get it over top of your radiator. And this is a really snug fit. So, you might have to work it back and forth. Start on one side and inch it closer, and then work the other side a little bit, until you're able to get it all the way on. Make sure it's secure. And the final step, and I almost forgot about this one is to go ahead and put our weather stripping on. So, you're just gonna take some alcohol and a microfiber towel. Go ahead and clean off the top part of your grille. And you're gonna wanna place this so that way the opening is in the back, that's where it's gonna sit with the closed and towards the front. I can go ahead and peel off my sticker. I wanted the right way I do want it to go. Press it down firmly. And she's ready to go.Meredith: So that is going to wrap it up for my review and the install of the RedRock Gladiator Grille, fitting all 2018 and newer JL Wranglers.
