How to install RedRock 4x4 Grille Inserts - Black on your Wrangler

1. Ensure that inserts are installed with the correct orientation. Match the angles of the upper and lower portion of the grille slots with the corresponding angles on the inserts.


2. Place the insert into the grille slot, starting with the bottom. Push the insert into the slot.


3. Clip lower retainers behind grille shell, and then push the top in until it clips in place. This usually can be accomplished by simply pushing on the insert, but sometimes it is helpful to squeeze the insert to the grille shell as shown.

Note: On the billet insert versions, it is not possible to squeeze as shown. For these, if pressure from the back of the grill is needed to make the insert snap into place, the grill must be removed. This is done by removing the 6 plastic fasteners from across the top of the grille, removing the blinker bulbs from their housings by untwisting them, and then pulling the grill away from the vehicle from the bottom, which will release the push fasteners.


4. Repeat steps 1-3 for all seven inserts.
