How to Install RedRock 4x4 42 in. Extreme Recovery Jack - Red on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Notes: This guide shows installation of a 60” Red Rock 4x4 Jack on a BOLT J-Mount passenger side bracket.

1. Remove BOLT lock cylinder and J-Mount plastic knobs. Place jack into position on BOLT post for a test fit.

2. Reinstall the plastic retaining knobs to secure the Jack while continuing the test fit.

3. Slowly open the Jeep door to ensure the foot of the Red Rock 4x4 60 in. Extreme Recovery Jack doesn’t interfere with the bottom of the door. If there’s interference and the jack can’t be raised or lowered, rotate the jack 180 degrees so the foot faces the fender flare.

4. Continue to slowly open the door to ensure the Red Rock 4x4 60 in. Extreme Recovery Jack doesn’t interfere with the side mirror or any other part of the door when fully open. If there’s interference and the jack can’t be rotated 180 degrees to remove the interference, try installing the J-Mount on the upper windshield hinge mounts.

5. Reinstall the BOLT lock cylinder to fully secure the jack to the Jeep.

6. Get a cover to protect your farm jack and hit the trails!
