1 PFF13 Flange
1 HJJ011 Hanger Clamp

1 HCV25 2.25" Band Clamp
1 HVC36 Hardware Kit

1. After you have inventoried the parts begin by placing your Jeep on a lift or 4 jack stands so you can work safely under your vehicle.

2. Remove the stock system by starting at the tailpipe working forward to the connection at the back of the catalytic converter (Note 1997-1999 owners this will be a slip fit and for 2000-2006 owners a 2 bolt flange). Retain the rubber isolators because they will be reused.

3. Begin your installation in the reverse order buy starting with the connection to the converter. 1997-1999 owners use the MJJ01-2 adapter with one HVC25 2.25" band clamp and one HVC21 2.5" band clamp. For 2000-2006 owners use the MJJ01-1 flared tube and flange along with the supplies HVC36 hardware kit and one HVC21 2.5" band clamp. Do not tighten at this point.

4. Next is the MVS33 muffler, install in the center in position with the offset exit position closest to the driveshaft followed by the TJJ15 tailpipe using the remaining HVC21 clamp. Suspend the tail pipe using the factory rubber isolators to the factory hangers.

5. Now that you have all the components loosely installed you can start making adjustments to align the system. Once you are satisfied with the alignment tighten all clamps and fasteners. Air tools for this step are highly recommended.

6. Now start your vehicle and check for leaks. It's not uncommon to see condensation coming from the relief cuts in the pipe for the first few hundred miles. Double check all clamps and hardware for tightness after the first week of operation and adjust accordingly.
