Bumper Grille Installation

1. Clean and dry the vehicle thoroughly.

2. The vehicle surface temperature must be a minimum of 15°C (60°F).

3. To install, you can either take the ends off of the bumper and install the grilles on a bench, or install the grilles while the ends are attached to the bumper.

4. To remove the ends, remove the T47 Torx bolts from the top (3 total) and the bottom (3 total) of the bumper. (See Figure 1) There are 2 more bolts on the back side of the bumper. (Driver side shown)

5. Apply rubbing alcohol to the clean towel and wipe down the entire boxed area shown in Figure 2 on the backside of the bumper end. This will ensure proper adhesion to the vehicle. (Driver side shown)

6. As shown in Figure 3, remove the 3M tape backing from the front of the bumper grille. (Driver side shown)

7. Align the three cut outs on the bumper grill with the three plastic rivet heads on the bumper. IMPORTANT: Do not to allow the adhesive surface of the grille to touch the vehicle prior to being in the correct location. When aligned, press and hold in position for 30 seconds to ensure proper adhesion. Refer to Figure 4 for proper alignment. (Driver side shown)

8. Using the self-tapping screws provided, secure the grille to the bumper through the holes. Refer to Figure 5 for screw locations. (Driver side shown)

9. Reinstall the bumper end by installing the bolts removed in step 4.

10. Repeat steps 4 - 9 for the passenger side.
