Hey, guys. It's Sara with extremeterrain.com, and today we have a review and install of the TruShield Neoprene Front and Rear Seat Covers in black, fitting your '18 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL two-door. These are perfect for the Jeep owner who wanna protect their factory seats from wear and tear and wanna set that offers complete coverage with an OE look. They protect your seats from excessive wear and tear whether it be daily use, off-roading, or even just sun exposure. They feature a four-layer construction with foam back padding for maximum comfort and feature a UV protected water-resistant neoprene shell. The kit is for both the front and rear seats and also includes covers for the headrests for complete protection and they also feature reinforced seams for added durability. So, as far as price goes, this kit comes in at around $200 for the full set, which is middle to high-end price-wise when compared to other options. And for your money, you are getting that full set of front and rear seats as I said, and they mold to your seats giving you that factory appearance. And as far as the install goes, I'm giving this one a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. There are no tools required and these can be installed within 30 minutes. So, with that said, let's check out the install. All right. So, before we can install the seat covers, we do have to remove the headrest. You're gonna pinch it from the side and pull the headrest up. You're gonna press in on the button on the side of the headrest and go ahead and pull it up all the way to remove it. At this point, you can grab the seat cover that's designated for the driver seat. They are different. It will have the opening on the side for this handle here. Open up the Velcro on the bottom and slide it over the top. Once the seat cover is in place, grab the piece on the bottom. We're gonna tuck it into the seat. We're gonna tuck it all the way through so we can attach it at the back. Pull the felt out from underneath the seat, tuck it up, and Velcro your seat cover in place. Now, we can install the bottom portion of the driver side. It has this hole right here for this knob. That's how you identify it. Line it up on the bottom portion of your seat, tuck it underneath your handle and around the knob.Next up, grab this strap and route it underneath your seat. This will hook to a strap on the other side. These straps at the back of your seat cover go around and underneath your seat and hook to these clips at the front. So, what you're gonna do is grab both of these and slide them through your seat so you can grab them at the back and hook them underneath. Clip them underneath your seat and pull the strap tight. At this point, we can put the covers on the headrests. These are the same driver to passenger, so go ahead and slide one on the top of the headrest. Now, you can get this close. You can always make some adjustments once it's installed that way it's held still a little better, but you're gonna push this flap down in the center and one on each side and Velcro them in place. Now, you can reinstall your headrest. Now, you can repeat that process for your passenger seat.At this point, we can move on to the rear seat cover. Go ahead and slide it over top of both headrests. Tuck each of these flaps underneath the headrests and Velcro it at the back. Pull the factory straps through the seat, tuck the felt piece underneath and through your seat, pull it out through the seat, fold it up, and attach your Velcro. Now we can put the bottom part of the seat cover on. Slide the belt buckles for your seat belts through. Then you're gonna tuck the buckles through your seat, tuck them around each side. Then we're gonna attach all the straps underneath. We folded our rear seat up just to give you guys a better view. You do not have to do this but it does give you better access. We're gonna start by clipping in the long connector that goes underneath the seat itself and we're gonna pull it tight. Now, for the connectors that we tucked in, each of these straps will have their own buckle. Go ahead and connect them and pull them tight. Now, you can install the covers for your headrests. All right. So, that is gonna do it for the review and install of these seat covers. And remember for all things Jeep, keep it at extremeterrain.com.
