Description
Universal Fuel Sending Unit. Repair the fuel sending unit in your Jeep using this Prosport Electric Fuel Tank Sending Unit; 240 to 330 ohms; 5 to 27-Inch. This part relays fuel depth levels to your vehicle for accurate fuel gauge reading and engine performance. The kit includes all the components necessary to replace the sending unit and float on compatible Jeep vehicles and other models as well.
Flange Mount Float Unit. This Jeep fuel sending unit mounts in position using a 5-bolt flange, and it includes a plastic float designed to go into your fuel tank to determine the proper fuel level during use.
Aluminum and Plastic Construction. This unit is made almost entirely from billet aluminum for rigid strength. It features a plastic lever and float and some plastic portions on its housing for lightweight durability. This unit also utilizes a cork seal for an airtight fit.
Medium Installation. This unit is moderately challenging to install and takes mechanics 2-3 hours to install properly. The fuel tank must be lowered to complete this installation, and the float must be inserted and calibrated with care.
