Description
Rear Replacement Drum and Shoe Kit. Restore braking power to the rear-end of your Jeep vehicle using this drum and shoe replacement kit. This PowerStop kit comes equipped with durable brake drums and replacement shoes, as well as all the hardware necessary to replace the drum brakes on the rear-end of your ride.
OEM Drum Design. The drums and shoes in this kit are designed to look and function like the originals. They have the same size and fitment as the OEM drums and can be installed in the same way.
G3000 Brake Drums. Each of the brake drums in this kit are G3000 iron drums that are protectively coated in silver rust-resistant paint that’s baked on. The drums are long-lasting and built to perform for many years.
Carbon Fiber Brake Shoes. This set features four carbon-fiber ceramic brake shoes that offer impressive stopping power.
Minimal Brake Noise. The brake shoes in this drum kit are made from carbon-fiber ceramic and quiet during operation. They produce little dust for optimal braking performance.
Moderately-Difficult Installation. This kit is moderately difficult to install and takes approximately 2-3 hours to put on. Replacing these parts requires removing the rear wheels, removing the stock drums, and installing all the hardware and replacement drums.
Rear-End Drum Kit. This Jeep Wrangler drum and brake shoe kit features two brake drums, four brake shoes, and the shoe installation hardware, adjusters, and high-temperature brake lubricant.
Application. This drum kit fits 1982-1985 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 models in the rear. No modifications are necessary to use the kit.
