Hey guys. Today I'm here with the Poison Spyder Rear License Plate Delete Cover, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers. So, relocating your license plate is very common if you're getting a new tire carrier, or you're just deleting the tire carrier overall and moving it to the middle of the tailgate. However, when you relocate your license plate you're either left with the stock mounting bracket, or you're left with a hole in the back of your Wrangler. So, this cover is gonna do a great job at either covering up that hole, or getting rid of the bracket overall. And I personally think that it is gonna be very noticeable. So, at the moment this is gonna be roughly $12, and this will be your most affordable option on the page right now. You may be seeing other options by other brands, but really, the only difference between this and those other options will just be the brands. So, if you favor another brand over Poison Spyder, those are gonna be options that you may take into consideration. However, if you do favor Poison Spyder, this will be your most affordable option at the moment. So, install's gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're only gonna need a couple of hand tools, and it's probably only gonna take you ten minutes. So, speaking of the install, let's head into that now. The tools that I used for this install is an impact wrench, a ten millimeter deep socket, a seven millimeter deep socket, and two flat head screwdrivers. So, the first step to our install is removing our license plate, so it's gonna be two ten millimeter bolts. So, I'm gonna use a ten millimeter socket. Once those two bolts are removed, we can pop the license plate out. So, now we can remove the two bolts that are holding on our license plate bracket. You're gonna be using a seven millimeter socket. So, now that our license bracket is freed up, we can remove it. But you are gonna have a wiring harness on the back for your license plate light. So, as soon as you get that shimmied out, you can turn it around and disconnect your light. So, in order to pop in our license plate delete bracket, we do need to remove these two retaining clips that were holding in our screws. So, how I like to do this without destroying the actual retaining clip is just to take two flat head screwdrivers. What you're gonna do is push in on the retainer clip from the side, and then you can pry it out from the front. It's still intact. It's not broken. This one was a little bent to begin with, so it kinda just pops out. So, once these are out, we can tuck this behind here. You may want to put a piece of electrical tape on this. But if you tuck this in here, you will be able to either run it to your new license plate bracket, or you'll just be able to keep it in here and access it up through the body of the Jeep. So, there's no hardware to attach our little bracket. We just have two retaining clips on the back, which are similar to the retaining clips that we just pried out of here. All you really have to do is pop it into place.
