Frame to Cowl Windshield Weatherstrip (87-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ)

Construction. Omix-ADA uses high-quality rubber for the Windshield Frame to Cowl Seal. It's soft enough the achieve a water and airtight seal, yet durable enough to withstand baking in direct sunlight, freezing on winter nights, and all other weather phenomena. Weatherstripping adhesive is not included.

Installation. You'll need to get some weatherstripping adhesive for the installation, and have a utility knife on hand. Before you can install this Windshield Frame to Cowl Seal, the area where you'll apply the adhesive must be clean. A microfiber cloth and mineral spirits make removing old adhesive fairly easy and quick. Before spreading the new adhesive on the seal, perform a dry fitting to make sure everything fits as it should, making adjustments with the utility knife if they're necessary. Spread an even amount of the adhesive on the seal, then press it in place. The job should take about half an hour to finish.
