Description
Specs. The timing cover provides protection for your Wrangler's timing chain, parts of the camshaft, and other vital parts of the valve system. It also helps to keep debris and engine gunk out of the timing components and prevents the leakage of lubricants. When your original timing cover gets damaged, broken, or warped, Omix-ADA has a direct fit replacement that provides the same great fit and thorough shielding as the original.
Construction. This Omix-ADA direct fit replacement part is a substitute for OEM component number 53020222. It fits the timing chain area of 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engines and 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engines of the appropriate Wrangler model years. It is fabricated out of steel and meets all fitment standards. A seal is also included. This timing cover is backed by a 5 year limited warranty from the maker.
