This is true for crankshaft journals, connecting rods, camshaft lobes, piston rings, bearings, etc. When rebuilding a worn out engine you'll need to replace them all in order to regain the engine's original performance. And, let's face it, Jeep's need all the power we can get. We offer new high quality replacement engine parts to get your Jeep back on the road. This replacement standard intake valve fits 81-83 CJ5, 81-86 CJ7 / CJ8 Scrambler, 81-87 J-Series Pickups, 81-83 Cherokee / Wagoneer SJ, 84-86 Grand Wagoneer SJ and 87-90 Wrangler YJ models with 4.2 liter engines.
