Description
Construction. Gain a much quieter interior with a comfortable carpeted feel by installing Rugged Ridge's Deluxe Complete Carpet Kit. The "honey" color provides a light, refreshing look while matching the overall Jeep aesthetic. Comfortable under the feet, this tough polypropylene also defies mildew and all kinds of spilled solvents. The carpet pieces cover the whole Wrangler floor and the rear wheel wells for a complete look.
Specs. Rugged Ridge's deluxe carpet kit is made out of modern materials for lasting durability. The tufted polypropylene is rugged and enduring, very resistant to wear, mildew, and solvents. Jute backing adds to the sturdiness. To prevent unraveling, the edges of this carpet are electronically surged. The driver's side piece includes a vinyl heel guard to prevent wear directly beneath the pedals. The carpet also serves to cut interior noise sharply.
Application. Installation of this carpet is an "advanced" level task. The seats must be removed and a trial fitting carried out, at which time any necessary openings are cut into the carpet. The carpet is then glued down with spray adhesive and allowed to dry before the seats are replaced. Some careful trimming may also be needed for proper fitment. This carpet installs into 1987 - 1995 YJ Wranglers.
