How to Install Olympic 4x4 57 in. Front Rock Bumper - Textured Black on your Wrangler

Installation Time

1 hours

Tools Required
  • 3/8” drive ratchet
  • 3/8” drive bit: Torx T55
  • Breaker bar (optional)

Installation Notes: Installation of the new bumper requires reuse of the factory bolts - be careful not to damage or discard the original bolts when uninstalling the original bumper. To ensure all holes line up correctly, do not fully tighten hardware on the new bumper until installation is complete.

Installation Instructions:

1. Uninstall factory bumper by removing the Torx bolts using a ratchet with a T55 bit (2 bolts on each side of top of bumper, one bolt on each side on bottom of bumper). Note: These bolts can be difficult to remove. For additional leverage, use of a breaker bar is highly recommended.

2. Install the new bumper on the frame as shown below.

3. The new bumper uses only the front hole for installation. If your original factory bumper was equipped with tow hooks, place one of the included 1” washers between the bumper and tow hook prior to installation as shown below.

4. Reinstall a total of four bolts, one on each side of the top of the bumper, and one on each side of the bottom (bottom shown below). If equipped with tow hooks, reinstall all six bolts.

5. Fully tighten all bolts to complete installation.
