    1 Top Rated Question

Description says: "Rotates Factory Pump" AND "Moves Pump into Engine Compartment". BUT the directions from the manufacturer show that the new plate installs between the SWAY BAR and the frame. Requiring removal of the sway bar entirely. Which is it? Rotate sounds nice, but moving into the engine compartment and removing the sway bar seem like unnecessary steps to "rotate" a pump.

    • The Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP Vacuum Pump Relocate Kit will relocate the vacuum pump by rotating this back into the engine bay, between the sway bar and steering links. Installation is most easily accomplished by removing the sway bar during installation, and then reinstalling the sway bar to provide the most room to work.

      Works ok

2017 Jeep jk sport Pretty easy to install but. It makes the vacuume pump rest right against the radiator. I tried to bend it down but you can go too far or it hits the sway bar. Only time will tell. Hopefully it won’t hurt the radiator.

Worked well but instructions could be better

Once all the little kinks are worked out the product works perfectly. The kinks aren't with the product necessarily but the installation process and instructions. Cutting the existing pump bracket was a hassle. The instructions say to cut the welds and remove the existing bracket. A typical cutter will not be able to get in there to do this even with the sway bar dropped I ended up not cutting the welds, but cutting the bracket off the frame and leaving the wheel side welded on. The existing nuts on the original bracket are intended to be used according to the directions. these are welded to the bracket so you either need to cut these off to use them or buy some. Flipping the rubber isolaters was not clear on how they wanted you to do this, and the orientation of the bracket on the vehicle took a couple of minutes to see what was intended. The vacuum line on the pump didn't seem to want to come off the pump either, i was able to install this without removing it however. Again, not really the products fault, but clearer instructions would have helped save some time. Overall I'm pleased with this product and would recommend it.

Did not need with Baricade bumper

Ordered because the video said go ahead and relocate before installing the bumper. The directions recommend cutting or grinding the old mount off to clear the bumper and new location of the vacuum pump, which would be very difficult to get to the factory weld points. Have seen others that turn up 90degrees to mount to the frame rail vs having to remove the sway bar mounts. I didn’t want to splice the electrical or extend vacuum tube, which is not required with this kit. After all that, relocating was not required so I was able to use the stock location before cutting them off.

      Jobs done!

Actually these brackets made relocating the vacuum pump so easy I was almost in disbelief. No need to jack the vehicle up, I just put a jack stand under the sway bar so it could hold it pretty much in place. Did this by myself in about 10 minutes. Only thing I did was I went to a hardware store and got M6 nuts with the threadlock in the nut itself to simplify. My 2018 JKU did not have nuts that held the pump in place so I had to buy some.
