Build for Tough Use. The Nitro Gear & Axle Ring and Pinion Gears are forged from 8620-grade steel. This steel features a much better core strength compared to ordinary steel alloys. With CNC triple lapped mating surfaces, friction and premature wear are minimized while fitment is perfected.
Recalibration Required. Speed measurement will be thrown off with any gear ration change. So be sure to recalibrate the Jeep’s computer after gear installation to get the new updated speed readings.
Expert Mechanical Skills Needed. Installing the Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30S Ring Gear and Pinion Kit will not only require specialized tools but also advanced mechanical skills. As such, it’s recommended that you set up an appointment with your trusted mechanic for the differential assembly and gear kit installation.
2-Year Warranty Policy. The manufacturer offers a 2-year warranty on the Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30S Ring Gear and Pinion Kit starting from the date of purchase. Manufacturing defects from material to workmanship issues are covered by the said warranty. Exclusions do apply so check the manufacturer website for more information on the warranty and claims.
Technical Note. Jeep Wranglers TJ with 4x4s are required to have matching front and rear gear ratios. Engaging your 4WD on gear ratios with too much difference may result in serious damages to your drivetrain components.
