How to Install a N-Fab Rock Rail - Textured Black - on your 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK

Please read instructions entirely before installing product. It is recommended to have assistance while performing the install.

This part uses the nuts located in the body mounts and does not require additional hardware.

Step 1. Locate the front and rear body buckets where the body mounts to the frame. NOTE: There are three body buckets per side.

Step 2. Start with the driver side. NOTE: The end with the cap is the rear of the bar.

Step 3. Remove the smaller nuts next to each large body mount washer on the front and rear body mount.

Step 4. Locate the Rock Rail’s front mount and rear mount.

Step 5. Slide the Rock Rail over the large body mount washers in the front and rear body buckets.

Step 6. Take the nuts removed from the body buckets and loosely bolt the Rock Rail on.

Step 7. Once all four nuts are in place, tighten to 30 lbs.

Step 8. Repeat this process on the opposite side.

Step 9. If you have the detachable steps (part # JPTS32) you can bolt one per side at this time.
