How to Install an N-Fab RBS Rear Bumper - Textured Black on your Jeep Wrangler

NOTE: Carefully read entire instructions thoroughly before attempting to install part.

INSTALLATION:

Step 1: While supporting bumper, remove (4) 8mm bolts securing OEM bumper mounting brackets to outside of frame (two per side). 

Step 2: Remove bumper. Replace OEM fasteners back into frame, these will not be used.

Step 3: Remove Driver side tow hook and frame bracket (four bolts). Set aside for and save OE hardware and tow hook for reinstallation. 

Step 4: Reinstall OE tow hook nut plate into inner frame rail using the bottom bolt and eyelet stud only. Make sure the nut plate aligns with the two holes in the side of frame. 

Step 5: Carefully raise RBS bumper into position aligning the bumper brackets on the outside of the frame rail to the mounting holes. Insert OE tow hook and bolts and finger tighten. Insert the supplied two ½” x 1” HC bolts nuts and washers to passenger side mount and finger tighten. 

Step 6: Once proper alignment is achieved, torque all hardware to 85 ft. /lbs.

Step 7: Your installation is now complete.
