      Description

      Functional Hood Vent. The Motobilt Rock Monster USA Hood Vent in raw aluminum is designed to replace the ineffective plastic center insert on select Jeep JK and JKU hoods, providing effective heat extraction where engine heat naturally escapes. By channeling hot air out, it improves cooling performance for both trail driving and daily use, reducing under-hood temperatures during slow crawls and intense engine demand.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from raw aluminum, this vent offers durable, corrosion-resistant performance and a clean, functional look. It can be used in its natural finish or painted to complement the vehicle's styling. An integrated rain drip pan on the underside allows airflow while preventing water from dripping onto engine components.

      Installation. The vent bolts directly into the Rock Monster USA aftermarket hood but may require cutting on some factory hoods or custom applications. Installation is straightforward for those experienced with hood modifications. Instructions are included to assist with the process.

      Application. This vent is specifically designed to fit 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models equipped with the Rock Monster USA aftermarket hood. It is also compatible with the 10th Anniversary Rubicon hood, although some cutting/modification may be necessary for proper fitment.
