This Motobilt center hood vent was built for that reality.

Designed specifically to bolt directly into the aftermarket Rock Monster USA aftermarket hood for the Jeep Jk and JKU, this vent replaces the factory non-functional plastic center insert with a fully functional aluminum vent that lets hot air escape where it naturally wants to go. It installs clean, sits right, and looks like it belongs there because it was designed for it.

Under the vent, Motobilt integrated a built-in rain drip pan. It is mounted on the underside of the vent and designed to divert water while still allowing airflow to pass through. You get heat extraction without dumping water directly onto the engine. That means daily driving, trail runs, and weather changes are all non-issues. Keep wheeling.

The vent ships raw aluminum, just how builders like it. Run it raw, powder coat it, or paint it to match your hood, cage, or accents. This is your rig. Build it your way.

Built to Match the Whole Hood, Not Just One Spot

The Rock Monster USA hood uses Rubicon 10th Anniversary–style side vents, and Motobilt offers a matching aluminum replacement for those as well. Together, they create a balanced airflow path across the hood and a cohesive look that feels intentional, not pieced together.

Factory Hoods, Trail Builds, and Anything You Can Cut

While this vent was designed around a specific hood, it does not live in a box.

If you are running a factory 10th Anniversary Rubicon hood, this vent can be installed by cutting the hood and fitting it in the center location. If you are comfortable cutting steel or aluminum, the finished result looks right at home.

Because of its size and shape, this vent is also well suited for universal applications, including:
