The Motive Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.27 Gears are designed to improve the performance of your Jeep. For every one turn that the ring gear makes the pinion gear makes 4.27 turns and through its spline count of 26 transmits this torque to your wheels through the driveshaft and the axle.

      Durability. The gear ratio of your Jeep Wrangler requires the input of the rear axle. The 10-Bolt Dana 44 has stood the test of time and it will support your street and off-road driving while withstanding premature wear fairly well.

      Superior-Quality Material. The best metallurgy helps cast and make the 8620 steel alloy from which gear set is made. The teeth of these gears are cut skillfully to ensure that they mesh seamlessly and this ensures that they will serve you for long.

      Installation. Specialized knowledge is required in putting up this gearing system. Professionals should pitch the system for you.

      Warranty. The manufacturer bears all costs that accrue from mistakes made during the construction of this set of gears for one year upon your purchase.

      Application. Motive Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 4.27 Gears fit all models of Wrangler YJ and TJ made between 1987 and 2006 excluding Rubicon.

      Application Note. This Dana 44 gear system is only compatible with a 3.92 carrier and above. Upgrading is necessary if you are using a lower carrier.
