When you realize that the power of your engine has reduced probably after you changed to large tires, re-gear with the 7.125" Ring Gear Diameter and 26-Spline Pinion for this set will ensure that the maximum possible power generated from the driveshaft of your Wrangler JK will reach the wheels for your desired level of acceleration.
Construction Material. Whether or not you will go back to the shop soon for another set of Ring and Pinion Gear which largely depends on the material used in making the one you are purchasing currently. Motive Gear uses 8620 alloy steel to make its Ring and Pinion Gear and scrutinizes it in the lab to ensure utmost strength, tolerance, and hardness.
Installation. Setting up the Ring and Pinion Gears into your Wrangler is no small task and requires specialized knowledge. You are advised to hire professional mechanics to install the set for you.
