        4 1999 Wrangler - PaulR

        Gets the job done!

I really miss a clutch, so it gives me something to do with my left foot.

5 2002 Wrangler - RobC Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Good comfort / safety equipment

Installed this for my wife and myself to help during extreme angles. Looks good and simple install and it really helped make for more comfortable handling of terrain by keeping us firmly in our seat. Dry run install to determine best fit based on your leg length before final install, mark and drill pilot holes. Installed on top of stock carpet (didn't want to cut it) but did cut removable carpet pieces and worked out well.

4 2005 Rubicon Unlimited - CityKid Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        It will work

The floor of the Jeep is curved, but the pedal is not. I could still get the mounting screw in the top hole and the bottom hole but the middle is too high. It looks like it's still going to work just fine, but I'll see. If you have ever bought bolt on parts for your Jeep before you already know they always need a little modifying. Drill the holes out a little more or something. This pedal is heavy duty so I'm sure it will hold up fine with only the 2 lower mounting screw and 2 upper mounting screws.

4 2000 Wrangler - Michael Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        M.O.R.E. Dead pedal Jeep TJ

The product itself works as it should. The one thing to consider before you purchase is your floor mats. In our case we have Husky floor liners that cover the contours of the floor really well. With this type of floor mat you will have to either remove them, cut around them or screw the Dead Pedal down through them. This is something I didn't consider before I bought this part. My work around was to drill one more screw into the side for stability and none through the floorboard. So far this has been working well and provides a needed resting point for my left foot. If I had to complain about anything other than that it would be the price. Bottom line is I like the product. -Michael and Kate

        5 2005 - ned46 Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Works as advertised

Great for long trips into the mountains. Your able to relax your back and it keeps you from rocking back and forth so much in really rough terrain. The one thing I did notice right after installation was I got into my jeep and was able to put my left foot on the dead pedal to support my body weight while getting into the seat. Just makes it a lot easier to settle in and get comfortable. Great product, good price, and easy to install. Glad I bought it.

5 1997 - OdomTJ Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Nice and heavy duty. Well made.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a false pedal. Solid, not flimsy, and a great fit. What else can you ask for?! Great product.
