Construction. The hopper attached to this Salt Spreader has a 240-pound capacity and measures 20 H x 23 W x 18 D inches. It's made of high-density polyurethane, has standard lid-locking and the whole apparatus is engineered from a carbon steel frame with powder-coated automotive paint for long-lasting protection. It comes fully assembled.
Motor. There is a 12-volt electrical operating system with this Meyer Baseline BL240 Tailgate Salt Spreader. It delivers a precise spread pattern of 3 to 25 feet and an motor guard that can double as storage stand when not in use.
The Spinner. The spinner that comes with this spreader is 9 inches in diameter and grinds down large chunks evenly. It is set up to use on bagged rock salt.
