How to Install McGard High Security Door Hinge Locks on your Wrangler

1 On the upper or lower door hinge, place magnetic paint protector on body/door, centering it just below the hinge nut.

2 Using the appropriate driver, socket, or bit, remove the hinge nut.

3 Insert key tool into hinge lock and engage lock nut pattern.

4 Thread the lock into hinge by hand.

5 Using a ¼” ratchet and the key tool, tighten the lock to approximately 80-90 in. lbs. Do not over-tighten.

6 Remove key tool and paint protector.

7 Repeat process on other doors (one lock per door).
