Description
Heavy-Duty Roof Mount System. The Maximus-3 Heavy Duty Roof Rack/Cross Bars Mounting System is a purpose-built solution for mounting Rhino Rack platforms or heavy-duty crossbars to your Jeep Wrangler JL. Designed to integrate with the factory sports bar, it supports heavy static loads for rooftop tents, gear, and accessories while maintaining access to the Freedom Top. It's ideal for overlanders and adventurers who demand strength and versatility.
Construction and Appearance. Made in the USA, this mounting system is built from CNC laser cut, press brake formed, and precision welded steel for exceptional durability. It features a dual rubber gasket sealing system to prevent leaks and a zinc-plated, textured black powder-coated finish for long-term corrosion resistance. With integrated planks, channels, and crossbars, it offers multiple tie-down points and mounting flexibility.
Installation. Installation is moderately difficult and requires drilling into the hardtop. The system transfers load through the roof to the internal roll cage, maximizing strength without compromising structure. Freedom panels can still be removed and reinstalled once the system is mounted.
