The Maximus-3 Flat Towing Kit with Blue Ox Adapters; Red is designed to provide a secure and reliable method for flat towing your Jeep Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT behind a motorhome or RV. It integrates recovery loops and specialized adapters alongside a triangulating tie rod to enhance towing stability and safety, preventing damage caused by surge brake delays or tow-bar malfunctions.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty 3/4” thick steel, the kit components are precision cut using flat laser technology and welded to ensure strength and durability. The assembly features finishes in red gloss, black textured, or gold powder coat to protect against corrosion while delivering a rugged, professional appearance.
Installation. Installation is rated as advanced and requires approximately 8 hours to complete, including cutting of the bumper and skid plate to properly mount the kit. The procedure demands skilled installation to ensure full functionality and safety.
Application. This towing kit fits 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models and Jeep Gladiator JT models equipped with factory steel or plastic bumpers. It is not compatible with the Blue Ox Adventurer Adjustable Tow Bar and requires modifications to factory components during installation.
