The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade; 2.25-Inch is engineered to maintain emissions compliance and help keep your vehicle’s check engine light off. Designed for use in a wide range of applications, it facilitates emissions control by converting harmful gases to safer compounds, ensuring environmental standards are met.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from stainless steel, this converter features durable 308 MIG welds and corrosion-resistant 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing. Its clam-shell body design is compact and finished in natural stainless steel, with an attached aluminized steel heat shield for enhanced durability and thermal efficiency.
Installation. Installation requires professional welding, as this universal converter does not come with clamps or hangers and must be welded in place. Its compact shape allows for fitting in confined areas. Welding is mandatory for proper installation.
Warranty. Backed by both emissions and construction warranties, providing assurance of durability and long-lasting performance.
Application. This catalytic converter fits 2000-2002 Jeep Wrangler models equipped with the 2.5L L4 engine. It is not CARB certified and is not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York. Additional verification may be necessary to guarantee fitment on specific vehicles.
