Description
Universal Emissions Solution. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; Standard Grade; 2.25-Inch is engineered to reduce harmful emissions efficiently while maintaining optimal vehicle performance. It replaces original catalytic converters to keep the check engine light off and help comply with federal environmental regulations.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and sturdy 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter is corrosion resistant for extended service life. It features a clam-shell stainless steel body with an aluminized steel heat shield, providing durable and reliable construction.
Installation. Installation requires welding and is recommended to be performed by professionals experienced with exhaust systems. The compact and lightweight design facilitates fitting in tight spaces without requiring additional clamps or hangers.
Warranty. This product includes a 5-year limited construction warranty and a 25,000-mile emissions warranty to ensure long-term durability and compliance.
Application. Specifically fits 1976-1977 Jeep CJ7 with 5.0L engine and 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with 2.5L or 4.0L engines. Not recommended for other models or years; does not meet CARB requirements for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
