How to Install Lifetime LED H13 LED Replacement Headlight Bulbs (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Time

Tools Required
  • Flathead Screwdriver
  • T15 Star Driver

Disclaimer: please excuse the mud, it IS a Jeep 


Installation Instructions:


1. Release the hood latches and pop the hood.


2. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully remove the six black clips highlighted in red.



3. Locate the turn signal bulbs behind the front grille, and twist the plastic connector clockwise to release the bulbs from the turn signal housing.



4. Pull on the middle of the grille and the corners behind the turn signal bulbs to dislodge the clips holding the grille in place. Remove the grill from the vehicle.


5. First, a BEFORE shot with the factory headlight bulbs.


6. Using the T15 Star Driver, remove the four (4) screws from the steel bezel around the headlamp.


7. With the headlamp free, disconnect the green connector by first sliding the red locking piece up and away from the light.


8. Rotate the H13 bulb base until you’re able to pull the bulb from the headlamp.


9. Insert the Lifetime LED bulb into the headlamp by lining up the three notches, then twist to lock in place.


10. Plug the connector from the back of the LED bulb into the factory headlight harness.


11. Reassemble the headlamp by completing steps 6-7 in reverse order. Repeat for the other side.


12. Comparison shots between the factory bulb and the Lifetime LED bulb.


13. AFTER shot with the Lifetime LED bulbs installed.
