Ryan: These Axial LED tail lights in smoke are for those of you that have a 2007 to 2018 to JK that are looking for a tail light that's going to provide your Jeep with a little bit of a different look from the back but is also going to provide a very bright and crisp light that is going to add to the safety factor. This is going to be an easy one out of three wrench installation because these are completely plug and play, but we'll talk through the install in just a second. So as I said, the big thing that you're going to get from this light is a different look. As you can see here in the light you're going to have a couple of different sections, you're going to have your white down on the bottom, tail, turn and stop up at the top, that's a dual brightness red light, have a reflector over here, a reflector on the side and another small LED on the side of the light as well. So you're going to have ton of visibility there. Again, LED's very bright, it doesn't burn out as quickly as an incandescent light and you're going to get that really crisp clean on and off when the lights are flashing or turning on and off when you have to press the brake. That is something that you'll find on a lot of modern vehicles that you don't get in the JK right off the showroom floor. So that's a little bit about how the lights work, how the lights look. Whether you like the look of this light or not, that's completely up to you to decide. But what I can tell you for sure after seeing a lot of these lights is that this is a very well constructed light and I can show you that on the backside here. As you see, there are no openings here, there are no weird adapters, there are no just big holes in the back of the light, and trust me, you see that sometimes. Anywhere that there is a pass-through for the wiring through this piece of plastic it's all going to be weathertight in there. And the heat sinks because all of these LED tail lights do need to have some sort of heat sink in order to work well with the CANBUS system on the JK. The heat sinks are mounted to the body of the light. They have vents in the plastic housing so the heat sinks can work properly. And they're not just inlying somewhere just flopping around in the back of the Jeep. So very, very well-built light, again I've seen a lot of these and this is a very well-built one. So if you do like the style of this light, I think you can feel very confident in knowing that it's well-built, it's going to hold up, it's gonna last a long time and it's gonna be a very easy install because again, you have a factory plug there and this just plugs right into your factory wiring harness. There's no cutting, there's no splicing, there's no wiring of any kind to do to get these lights working. So from a quality perspective, it's all there. If you like the style of these, I think they are a good buy. They come in right around that $260 mark and I do think again that's pretty fair. With lighting, in general, you're really going to be able to find lights all over the spectrum from the top to the bottom of the price range and also the quality range and I think this is a really nice balance of quality and price. Can you find some that are less expensive? Yes. Are they going to be as well-built? Probably not. Can you find some that are much more expensive? Yes. Might they have some additional features built into them? Maybe. But again I think this is going to be a pretty good balance for you. So if you like the style, this is a great choice. Now we're gonna show you how to get these things bolted in. Tony: Tools used for this installation are as follows. We have a small screwdriver with a Phillips head bit, you can use a regular handheld Philips also. All right. Now we're gonna begin the install of our new LED tail lights on the back of our JK Jeep, and this is a super simple install. To remove your old tail lights you're just gonna need a Phillips head screwdriver. Now I'm gonna do it with an electric screwdriver, you can do it with a regular handheld one. Electric tools are not necessary but they are a lot easier to use. We'll begin by removing the two screws then we're just gonna slide our tail light out, unplug it and get our new one installed. That's all it takes to remove your factory tail light. Now to install our new tail light, it's the exact reverse of removal. Just plug it in. Remember to push it down to you until you hear it click. And reinstall our factory screws. And remember, you don't have to slam these things in their super tight, just make sure they're nice and snug. Now that's really all it takes for installation. Just remember, repeat these steps on the opposite side and you'll be done. Well that ties up the installation of our new tail lights on our JK Jeep Wrangler. My name is Tony. Thanks for watching.
