How to Install Kikbax Offroad Foot Pegs w/ Mirrors on your Wrangler

Step 1: Take off your doors!

Step 2: Prepare your door strap hook. Make sure the door strap hook is in the upright position (factory position), and not bent towards the door jamb. Some adjustments to the door strap hook may be required. There are two solutions if the hook Is in fact bent: Buy a new door strap hook, or the deeper Method: Use the circular side of a 1/2" wrench to bend the door strap hook back into the original upright position.

Step 3: Position Kikbax YJ over the two door hinges and the door strap hook.

Step 4: As you guide the top hinge in, the bottom hinge and door strap hook should line up as well.

Step 5: Once both hinges and door strap hook are lined up, push Kikbax YJ down to lock into the hinges and door strap hook. Kick back and relax!

Step 3: Guide Kikbax TJ into the top door hinge. Once the top hinge is in, Kikbax TJ should line up with the bottom hinge. The same way you would line up the hinges of a door.

Step 4: Now swing Kikbax TJ in toward the door jamb, making sure Kikbax TJ align with the dome light button. Lifting them slightly, slide Kikbax TJ up and over the door strap hook then push them down safely around the door strap hook.

Step 5: At this point your Kikbax TJ should be flush with the door hinges and locked In place. Kick back and relax!

Step 1: Take off your (front) doors!

Step 2: Guide Kikbax JK into the top door hinge. Once the top hinge is in, Kikbax JK should line up with the bottom hinge. The same way you would line up the hinges of a door.

Step 3: Swing Kikbax JK towards the door jamb until they meet the door strap hook.

Step 4: Lift Kikbax JK up and over the door strap hook. 

Step 5: Push down on the Kikbax JK foot peg, locking the Kikbax JK firmly in place behind the door strap hook. At this point your Kikbax JK should be flush with the door hinges and locked in place. Kick back and relax!
