Installation Process. The installation process for the Hood Vent is a breeze. The product comes with all hardware needed to perform the process. Remove the screw from the cowl vent and clean the top of the vent area with rubbing alcohol to prevent the 3M tape from sticking. Peel off the outer tape and place the hood vent in place on the cowl. The alignment should be correct before you secure the cowl. Apply pressure using a rag to make sure the tape bonds properly.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. All Kentrol Inc. products come with a limited lifetime warranty from the date of purchase. Note that the warranty only covers workmanship and material defects, not wear and tear and improper installation.
Application. This Hood Vent is designed to fit all Jeep Wrangler TJ models built between 1998-2006.
Installation Difficulty. Installing the Hood Vent should take no longer than 60 minutes and requires basic mechanical skills.
