        3 Top Rated Questions

I have an 06 TJ w/o any foglight option. Being an 06 it appears i have it "prewired" under the fenders. Are these plug and play, and if so, do I need a switch?

        • As long as you have the OE wiring harness this should install nice and easily.

I have an '05 Wrangler Sport and it has the pull-out function on the light column and the unused factory harness underneath fenders. I guess, I'm wondering if it's possible to install these lights onto a winch bumper and have enough slack to just use the factory connector instead of running the new wires and relay? In theory, it should work as long as the fog light has the OE connector.

        • We do not recommend wiring the KC HiLiTES 6 in. Apollo Pro Lights via the OEM wiring, as the circuit is not rated for the load these draw.

Will these lights mount to the KC HiLiTES Overhead light bar?

        • These KC HiLiTES 6 in. Apollo Pro Replacement Fog Light can mount to an overhead light bar, but the harness will be too short, as this fog light was made to mount to the front bumper of the Jeep and connect to the factory fog light harness. I would recommend getting these lights instead, item: J103668 . These lights will mount to the overhead and will include a harness and a switch to run into the cabin and battery.

4 2005 Rubicon - Offrodn Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

The lights are good durable lights. They light the road where you need fog lights to reach. I have truk lites for main headlamps and the fog lights are a great match up. The beam spreads to the side ahead where you need it most. I do wish the KC gaurd would detach. I am not one for publicizing name brands, wheels are always black side out, things like that. Other than that, good lights. Absolutely plug and play.

Very bright easy to install. Had to make hole for stock fog lights a little bigger, than that these lights are great.

            3 2006 Rubicon - MichaelV

            Not bad

They're nice lights, have them on 2 jeeps, Lj and Tj, the covers suck as they can only be put on two ways neither of wich allow for them to look correct it mounted from the side. They should also be right and left but that's not a big deal. 3 star because of the cover, and yes it has to be on it holds in the lens

            oversize bolts

The bolts were too large to fit the factory bumper holes. Had to drill them out.

            Great Option

I bought a pair of the KC lights off of the website about a year ago. They held up through everything I put them through, until a tree landed on one of them. This option got me back up with my lights for half the cost of having to replace both of them. Easy and quick to install
