How to Install KC HiLiTES 7 in. Gravity LED Headlights (97-06 Wrangler TJ) on your Jeep Wrangler
At the center of KC’s new Gravity® LED 7” Headlight is our patented Gravity GRD™ (Gravity Reflective Diode) technology, which is engineered to maximize every lumen emitted from the LED. By directing the LEDs back into the optical reflectors at the most ideal angles we achieve maximum light output at a fraction of the wattage. 1. Remove headlight bezels
Using the Philips head or T15 Torx screwdriver: Remove the (3) screws from the headlight bezel. Grab the bezel and remove it from around the headlight.
2. Remove retaining ring screws
Using the T15 Torx screwdriver: Remove the (4) retaining ring screw holding the headlight assembly in place. Remove the retaining ring from the headlight.
3. Disconnect current headlights
Hold the headlight and pull it toward you. On the back of the headlight, you will find the H4 connector; disconnect it from the headlight.
4. Connect new LED headlights
Connect the OEM H4 connector to the H4 connector extending from the 7” LED headlight.
5. Align and secure
The KC Gravity LED Headlight is indexed to align with the Jeep Wrangler Headlight Housing. Make sure the indexed tabs are properly aligned before screwing the retainer ring back into place using the original (4) Retainer Ring Screws.
6. Reattach headlight bezels
Reattach the headlight bezel around the new 7” LED headlight and install the (3) screws to finish.
7. Power on and test
Turn your vehicle on and check the low beam and high beam functions before entering public roadways.
