Ryan: The KC HiLiTES 4-inch Gravity G4 Amber Replacement Fog Light is for those of you that have a 2010 to 2018 JK or 2018 JL, that are looking to replace those factory fog lights in your factory plastic front bumper with a light that is going to be a lot brighter, and is also going to have an amber look and function. This is going to be drastically brighter and more functional than your factory fog lights, and way better than just swapping out the bulb in the factory housing. This is still gonna be a very easy one out of three wrench installation. You'll be able to bolt this right into your bumper, and it is gonna be completely plug-and-play, and we'll talk more about the installation in just a second. So what you're gonna get here is an LED light inside of a reflector housing, but they do a really nice job at KC HiLiTES of building a reflector housing that is still able to very well control the light. This still gives you very much a fog beam pattern. And what that is, is going to be a very long and narrow light pattern that's designed to be aimed down and give you a little bit wider throw before your headlights actually hit the ground. So again, it's designed to be very low on the ground. With that in mind, this is adjustable, so that you can adjust this light up and down and get it aimed exactly how you want it, which is something that a lot of the other aftermarket fog lights will have as well, but something that this does a really nice job of.The fact that this is an LED light means that it's going to have very low draw, but it's also going to produce some very, very bright light. So you're getting a bright light, all very well-controlled due to the reflector, and that's what you're gonna be looking really in any light on the outside of your Jeep. Now KC HiLiTES does a really nice job of making projector LED lights, they have a lot of projector LED lights for their headlights. This is of course going to be a reflector and not a projector, but again, they still doing a very good job with the beam pattern on this light.I really like the fact that this is amber, I prefer the look of an amber fog light on a lot of different vehicles. That's just my personal preference. Amber's also supposed to have some benefits if you're in a foggy or misty, rainy type situation, having less light that bounces back into your eyes as the driver. So whether you're looking to install amber lights because you like the look when you're looking at the Jeep, or you like the look when you're looking out through the windshield and actually using the lights, whatever the reason is, this is gonna be a really good choice for you. Now, because this is KC HiLiTES, because it is very well built, because it is LED, this is gonna be more expensive than some of the other choices you're gonna find. However, if you're looking for very high quality, I think this is a great choice. As I said, this is gonna bolt directly into your Jeep. You're going to be able to put this right into any factory plastic front bumper on your JK or on your JL. If you have one of the special edition metal bumpers, they use a slightly different fog light, and you're not going to be able to bolt those up. But any factory plastic bumper is gonna bolt right up. And these do come with a small jumper harness. So there's the pigtail that comes off the light itself, and then there's a small jumper harness here. And that's going to adapt this so that it'll plug directly into your factory fog light harness. So your factory switch will work exactly how your factory fog lights work. There's no wiring, there's no cutting, no splicing, nothing like that involved in this installation. As I said, this is adjustable, it is going to be a very well-built light that I think you're gonna get a lot of life out of. Now a member of the install team is gonna show you how to get this installed.Man: To get this install started off, we're gonna start off by removing our stock fog light. To do so, I'm gonna turn the wheel all the way to the right. It's gonna open up some room for us, so we can get in there and pull our stock fog light out. With a pry tool, we're gonna go ahead and remove six pushpins on the inside of our bumper here. That's gonna remove our cover and reveal our factory fog light. We got one more all the way on the inside here, it might be a little tough for you guys to see. All right, guys, I forgot to pull one more clip right here. This is part of the splash shield, so this does have to come out as well. Once you've got all your pushpins out, we can pull this inspection cover right on out of here, and that's gonna reveal our factory fog light. We can now unplug our factory fog light. All we need to do here is grab and pinch the end of the connector, and pull out to release the clip. From here, we have four 7-millimeter bolts that need to be removed, so I have a 7-millimeter socket on my ratchet and we're gonna pull these out now. We can now pull our factory fog light right out of the bumper. We're now ready to install our new fog light. Keep in mind that you wanna have your lettering facing up when you put this in. You don't want to install it upside down. And there are also two alignment holes, one here and one here. The corresponding pins are on the inside of the bumper here. That's gonna help you get things lined up. So let's throw this thing in now. Once you've got your fog light in, you can go ahead and put the four 7-millimeter screws right back in place. Now, once we've got all four screws back in place, we'll take the wire harness and plug this guy right on in. Now, KC does provide you with this adapter harness right here, so we do have a little extra wire. That's no big deal, we'll take a zip tie and we'll get these up and out of the way for now. We're now ready to put our plastic cover right back into place onto our bumper. Once you've got your plastic cover back in place, we can start putting our plastic pushpins right back in place. That's gonna wrap up our review and install.
