Simple installation for anyone.
I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the JeepTops USA Headliner Kit, fitting all 2007 and up JKs. Today we're gonna talk through the installation of this kit, which is a very simple one out of three wrenches because this does install with some 3M adhesive and Velcro. A hardtop headliner serves a couple of different purposes. For some reason, Jeep decided to leave the interior of your hardtop white, which doesn't always look the best, so adding a nice set of black headliners like this will really finish off the look of the interior. But even more than just aesthetics, a headliner kit like this can be very functional. It'll really serve two main purposes. One is to be insulating, so if it's nice and hot outside, you'll be able to have the AC going in your Jeep and keep it nice and cool for you and your passengers, or vice versa, in the wintertime, you'll be nice and warm. And this will also insulate against road noise. Especially if you have some big, knobby mud tires on your Jeep, you'll know how much noise you can get through the relatively thin hardtop, so adding a headliner kit like this will cut down on noise, making it much easier for you to have a conversation while in the cab of your Jeep. This setup in particular is incredibly well-built, as we're used to seeing from JeepTops USA, without being overpriced, and it'll serve both the form and the function very well. There are a few different versions of this headliner kit that you can get. One is going to be for those of you with the two-door and one for those of you with a four-door. And Jeep did change the design of the hardtop a little bit from 2010 to 2011, so there are two different year ranges as well. So just make sure you pick the right one for your Jeep and this will install and fit really well. These are made of a four-layer construction that have a poly-cotton exterior on the side that you actually see when you're sitting in the Jeep, which is very similar to an OEM headliner material that you would see in most cars, so it does give you a really finished look. As I mentioned before, JeepTops USA is known for making really, really high-quality parts, and this is no different. From the piping around the outside, to the stitching, to the way that it actually attaches to the Jeep, this is a product that's going to hold up very well, it's going to do exactly what it's designed to do, and it's going to install very easily. As far as installation goes, this is going to very easily stick to the inside of your top with adhesive, and it also has Velcro strips so you can very easily remove and reinstall them if you need to clean them off. Something that makes this setup a little bit unique from some of the others on the market is that the section directly over the driver has some elastic pockets and even a zipper pocket, so you have a little bit of additional storage built right into your headliner kit. As I mentioned before, this is a very simple one out of three wrench installation. In fact, you're not even going to need any tools to get this done. All you'll do is clean off the area underneath your hardtop where these are actually going to stick, peel off the backing on the adhesive, and push them in place. With some headliner kits, you do have to remove your hardtop, flip it upside down in order to install the headliner kit. This is not one of them. This is a very easy installation that you can do with the hardtop installed on the Jeep. You don't even have to loosen up any of the hardware, which makes this very, very simple. And you will wanna install these when the temperatures are moderate. You wanna give the adhesive a good chance to set up and bond so that these will stay in place where you put them. The whole installation shouldn't take you more than a half hour, and again, no tools needed. This headliner kit is priced very fairly, in my opinion. As I've said before, JeepTops USA makes some of the highest quality soft products for your Jeep, and some of them are lot more expensive than their competitors, just because of the quality. With this headliner kit, I feel like you get all the quality of a JeepTops USA product, but you're paying the same price that you would pay for some of the other versions on the website that, in my opinion, aren't quite as well-made. So I think this is a great buy.So whether you're looking to just finish off the look of the inside of your Jeep or you're looking for the installation from both noise and temperature, this kit is going to provide all of that in a really high-quality product that's fairly priced. So that's my review of the JeepTops USA Headliner Kit, fitting all 2007 and up JKs, that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
