    FOX Shocks Included. The JKS Jspec 3.5 in. JKontrol Lift Kit comes with some of the best, highest-quality shocks on the market. With these FOX 2.0 Evolution series shocks, you will find that your Jeep is grounded, and impact is not an issue. You will receive both front and rear shocks in the kit.

        with this lift do I need a rear track bar? do I need new front and rear control arms? do I need a new steering stabilizer and do I need new front and rear drive shafts? I've never lifted any of my jeeps but I want to make sure I get it all done right and I don't want to buy thing I don't need!!

        • This lift kit will come with a rear track bar bracket, and control arms brackets and will not need any additional parts to get your Jeep safely lifted.

        Any drive train or other geometry issues that need to be corrected with parts not included with the 3.5 jspec lift kit?

        • With the JKS Jspec 3.5 in. JKontrol Lift Kit the only additional parts that JKS recommends are a steering stabilizer and exhaust spacers. The spacers are for 3.6L model Jeeps only. Every Jeep reacts differently to being lifted and you may find that at 3.5" your stock driveshafts are overextended and you need to go to aftermarket ones rated for your lift height.

        Will this kit level out the factory rake or would an additional spacer in the front be recommended?

        • The JKS Jspec 3.5 in. JKontrol Lift Kit will eliminate the factory rake and level out a majority of the vehicle when properly installed. No additional accessories will be needed to level out the vehicle outside of this lift kit.

        What difference does the JKontrol make?

        • The J Kontrol system contains JKS’s beefy control arm relocation brackets with an OEM style drag link flip kit for the ultimate combination of durability, road comfort and un-rivaled street handling. The control arm bracket flattens the front control arm angles and correct alignment. The drag link flip kit levels the drag link which completely eliminates any hint of bump steer.

            drag link flip kit wore out knuckle in 7000 miles

            Most of the lift seems ok but the drag link flip is the weak link. Where they have you drill out has worn out in less than 7000 miles of use and I would never use again. Now I must replace my knuckles and drag link due to their terrible design.

            Amazing kit!

            Had a local shop do the install because it’s winter and I don’t work outside in the cold. But the difference is unbelievable! It lifted my Jeep close to five inches overall and the ride quality is far beyond what I expected. No bump steer, no rattles and it actually rides better than it did on the factory suspension. I’ll be buying this kit for my next jeep, too.

            Very Nice Kit

            What set this lift kit apart for me was the control arm relocation brackets. It made sense to keep the same geometry if possible and not add to the angles when lifting my Jeep. The front end alignment proved it works. Barely needed any adjustments at all. I did buy the adjustable sway bar links to avoid drilling holes in the stock rear brackets and I highly recommend that. It rides a little stiffer than stock but I didn't expect it to be a limo ride. The components seem quality and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Approx 8 hours on the install, solo.

            Worth for the money

            This is a good quality lift kit. It includes pretty much everything what u need. Make sure add a exhaust spacer. It took me almost 1 and a half days to install this kit with basic tools. I replaced the all 4 control arms with jks j spec. Over all I like this product.

            Highly Recommended

            Intalled simultaneously with 17in wheels and 35in tires. First impression on and off road is that it feels very much like stock... but better. Yes with the 35s I slapped on, it is a little more sluggish. However, steering feels much better, the Jeep doesn't rock as much as it did when it was stock. Before, it felt like a bobble head on a boat whenever I would turn or hit bumps. Now, the suspension is much stiffer so it does provide more stability while driving on and off road. I do recommend a few separate things to buy if you are thinking about this kit: 1. Exhaust extension kit. You WILL need an extension kit for your exhaust to protect your drive shaft especially with a 3.5 or higher lift. Many will say that you won't need it. But wait until you are at full flex and realize that your boot is messed up. 2. Adjustable control arms. The brackets provided are cool to look at, but lets face it the stock control arms are ugly. Not only that, the brackets kind of take away some of the clearance that you would otherwise have without it. Maximize the clearance you would get from this kit and buy adjustable control arms. 3. Extended break lines. I'm not a huge fan of the break line relocation brackets that come with the kit. However, they will do the job. I am currently waiting for my extended break lines to arrive so I can replace the OE break lines. 4 out of 5 stars only because of the 3 things I mentioned. Otherwise, very good looking, very good quality, and seems like a very sturdy product. I think I was meant for those of us who intend to slowly build our Jeeps rather than for those who like to spend an arm and a leg for a very complete kit. I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend the JKS JSpec 3.5in JKontrol lift kit.

            Great lift with a smooth ride

            I have always been a believer you get what you pay for. This lift is awesome, the reviews are right on. Had it up to 70 and it was one smooth ride. Great articulation off road.

            Smooth On and Off-Road

            I installed this lift a few weeks ago and I could not be happier. It rides smoother than factory and it looks awesome! I highly recommend this lift kit!! I do suggest buying the JKS rear sway links. I installed them while installing the lift, so there was no need to drill the rear tabs. Easy to follow instructions. Definitely worth the $$$!

            Pretty good......but......

            JKS products are top notch. Here's a couple of things to note if you intend on buying this lift. 1. You don't get new rear sway bar links. JKS has you drill holes above the old link holes on the axle.----$80 for JKS adjustable sway bar links on ET. 2. Buy some coil wedges for the rear---$30, trust me. 3. I had a heck of a time trying to get the rear track bar into the rear track bar bracket. I decided the heck with the bracket and bought an adjustable track bar---$130. 4. You'll never get your front axle centered by yourself with the jam nut style front track bar. Get it close, take it to get an alignment shop, and let them deal with it. ------ All in all, I dig it.

            Pay for what you get.....

            Went with the 3.5" JKS lift and debated between this lift and AEV as I was looking for strong on road behavior and the ability to have some fun on weekends all while running 35" tires. Installer even commented that it was a well built kit and enabled stock specs for a safe and confident on road/highway ride for mom and the family. Very happy after 2 weeks so far and no issues or rubbing.

            Top of the line lift kit

            The instructions of the lift kit could be improved as well as including the step drill that they claim to include. Additionally the hardware included in the kit could've been organized better. Regardless I'd highly recommend this kit, each piece is so solid, I have zero concerns while wheeling. Everything except the front track bar bracket lined up like stock.

            Nice Lift for my 2012 JK

            Put the 3.5 JKontrol lift on with 33in tires on 18 rims. Looks great and rides about the same as stock. I would say it's close to stock but the ride is better.

            Just reiterating on what everyone said, this is a solid product. Here's a quick review of the parts and install. Pros: -excellent fit and finish. -materials used were super beefy and solid. -hardware (nuts and bolts) are all individually package for ease of installation. -best colored instruction manual I've used. Not some cheap piece of paper that'll ripp halfway thru the build. -comes with Fox 2.0 shock:) *after a few days of driving on Highway and small offroad obstacles, this kit is amazing. After getting alignment, everything was in spec, including caster. Cons: -I'm not a fan of drilling so I purchased a set of jks adjustable rear endlinks. Also wished they included exhaust brackets. -Had to drill to do the flip drag link mod. Wished there was another way. -they could have put more details on installing and adjusting the steering and trackbar. Make sure you do additional research. *the adapter brackets for track bars are a tight fit, especially the front ones. Just take your time and to get those holes lined up. Conclusion: It really is a good lift kit with quality parts. It's not an easy installation but doable. I'd hate to say it, but it really does ride better than stock.

            My first lift

            From stock to these---WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! The ride quality on road is great. I didnt give a good review on thr off road due to not having taken it out yet. Installation for a first timer is hard. You NEED an extra set of hands. We messed up a few times and had to uninstall backwards to get it to fit right the 2nd time. The instructions are very bad at some areas, hens the uninstallation and reinstallation of certain areas. Atthe end though, im VERY pleased. Hint, my steering was off 90•. Thats because we didnt set the steering wheel center before installing the steering rod.
