Description

If you’re thinking of the proper upgrade, you can’t do wrong with this Type-2 1.50-Inch Shorty Header. This header assembly features a 6 - 2- 1 configuration with a transition from 1.50-inch wide primary pipes to a 2-inch wide collector pipe. This configuration, when combined with the primary pipes’ free-flowing design, ensures a much faster exit of exhaust gas. The result is practical gains in power and torque to give you the capability to get out of worrisome scenarios whether on the road or off.
Menacing Sound Transformation. Another ideal effect of installing this shorty header is the new exhaust sound you’ll get. Specifically, this header will give your Jeep a throaty sound with a bit more bass. This way, your ride sounds just as fierce as it will perform.
Retains Factory Catalytic Converters. Thanks to its close-to-stock short tube design, this header allows you to keep using the rest of your factory exhaust components. In particular, this shorty header will retain your factory cats. In doing so, you get to maintain factory emission levels.
Brawny Build Quality. This shorty header is manufactured from high-quality T304 stainless steel tubes measuring 1.50 and 2 inches for the primary and collecting tubes, respectively for maximum durability. Additionally, these tubes are CNC mandrel bent before getting expertly TIG welded for added rigidity and consistent performance. Meanwhile, its flanges are machined from heavy-gauge stainless steel plates, offering a consistent seal to your engine. Finally, this header assembly features a sleek yet rugged natural finish.
ECU Re-Tune Not Required. This header provides its performance courtesy of its free-flowing 6 - 2 - 1 design without the need for an ECU re-tune. That said, giving your ECU a re-tune in the future will permit your Wrangler to take advantage of this shorty header’s potential.
