Hey, guys. So today, we're checking out the tonneau cover in a black diamond vinyl material, fitting all 2018 and newer 2-Door JL Wranglers. So if you're constantly taking your top off of your Wrangler, and you're looking for a little bit of protection to the back seats in the cargo area while your soft top or your hardtop is off, this is going to be a great choice to take a look into. Now, this is going to be made of a black diamond vinyl material very similar to the factory soft top, so this will do a good job at not only covering the entire back area of the cargo area and over top of your rear seats, but this is also going to hold up considering it is that exterior soft top material. Now, this will be great if you are carrying anything in the back of the cargo area, if you have your seats out and you just want to keep it protected from the elements, from prying eyes, or if you just want to cover up the back and make sure that the seatbelts aren't flying around while you have the top off, just making sure that this area is completely covered. Now, this is also going to have little straps around the side of the tonneau cover. This will go into the belt rail retainer and these are going to allow an easy install. This is going to have a zipper on the front to allow windjammer to be installed after the fact if you would like to do that, kind of create a barrier in between the front seats and the rear of the Wrangler. And then, this is also going to come with an attachment on the back for a tailgate bar, so you can utilize the tailgate bar if you'd like to seal the tonneau cover too at the back of the tailgate there.Overall, this is a very solid product, perfect if you are constantly taking the top off and are just looking for a little bit of extra coverage, a little bit of extra protection and to make sure that you have the most comfortable experience while that top is off. Now with all of that being said, this is going to be pretty affordable, your more affordable option on the page for a 2-door tonneau cover coming in at roughly $100. Now, there are other options available in the category that are going to be set up very similar to this. However, they may be a little bit more specific when it comes to the windjammer attachment in the front, or they may come with some extra bells and whistles instead of what you see here. However, generally, they are going to be the same, most are made of a soft top black diamond material. So, if you are looking for an affordable choice, and you're looking for something that's really going to get the job done, and look good while doing it, then this is going to be a great option. Now, when it comes to the install, I'm going to give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, taking you no longer than 30 minutes with no tools in your driveway to get the job done. So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now. Before this install, you want to make sure that the top is off your Wrangler whether you have a hard top or a soft top, because we will be utilizing the tub rail retainer over on this side. And then, you also want to make sure that your back seats are either down or out, so we can place the tonneau cover over the back cargo area. So at this point, what we're gonna do is grab our tonneau cover, we're gonna open it up, and we're gonna lay it over the back, making sure that the tags and pull tabs on the back are facing the tailgate. So what we're gonna do now is pull the Velcro apart on one side and we're gonna put it around our sports bar. Now, we don't have to have this fully adjusted correctly right now, we just kind of want to put it in place so you can get an idea of where we have to put our tabs in our belt rail retainer. So, we're gonna do the same thing on the other side. Now at this point that we have the tonneau cover kind of anchored on either side, what we're gonna do is take our plastic tabs and curl that into the belt rail retainer. Now, we're gonna have some nylon straps that will help us out on the other side to pull it shut...or I pull it tight, I should say.So because the material is brand new, it is going to have to stretch out so it may be difficult to get the other side mounted up at first, and it may take a little bit of muscle. This is where these pull tabs come in handy. So once everything is tucked in and adjusted, really, you are all set to go. Now, you can add a tailgate bar and the tailgate bar retainer is on the back, if you'd like to seal the tonneau cover to the tailgate. Now, you can either use the factory one, or if you have a hard top and you don't have a factory's tailgate retainers and a tailgate bar, you can outsource for one, we do have those options available on the site. There's also a zipper up front. Now you can add a windjammer with this. This specifically just comes with the tonneau cover, so if you would like to add one, there is an attachment here. However, that is going to wrap it up for my review and install. Make sure you like and subscribe for more videos and products just like this, and always keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
