    Description

    All-Terrain Ready. The Sumitomo Encounter AT Tire was developed specifically for drivers looking for all-terrain capability and performance. This tire combines all-season traction, even in the snow, with superior durability.

    Five-Rib Tread Design. This tire sports a non-directional, 5-rib tread design that optimizes ride stability and resists irregular wear. It has deep treads designed to perform on any surface, and features stepped edges that bite into loose terrain, wide grooves for water evacuation, and winter-focused zigzag sipes in the shoulders.

    Enhanced Stability. The Encounter wheel features a 2-ply polyester casing underneath 2 wide steel belts.  Spirally-wound reinforcement gives the tire enhanced stability for a more comfortable ride.

    Reduced Road Noise. This Sumitomo tire meets severe snow service requirements and boasts a variable width shoulder block design for reduced road noise.

    Warranties. The Sumitomo tire is covered by a 5-year/60,000 mile tread life warranty, a 5-year material warranty, a 1-year road hazard warranty, and a 30-day test drive, 2-year roadside manufacturer's special warranty.
