No More Fuse Replacements. Having to remove and replace fuses when you’re flat towing is an annoyance that you shouldn’t have to deal with. Enter the Jeep Wrangler Long-Lead Mini Fuse Bypass Switch. This product allows you to avoid the time-consuming removal and replacement of fuses, allowing you to bypass the fuse and get going again in no time at all.
Product Specifications. The Jeep Wrangler Long-Lead Mini Fuse Bypass Switch has a 20-Amp maximum capacity and does not come with a fuse installed. Made by CURT, the switch also integrates with the company’s RV harness. However, you will need to buy the harness separately.
Straightforward Installation. The Jeep Wrangler Long-Lead Mini Fuse Bypass Switch comes with a set of instructions that guide you through the eight steps for installation. You will need some tools to install the switch, including a drill, a 3/4-inch drill bit, and another drill bit that is less than 3/4 inches. Some minor wiring and vehicle modification are required, though it is all fairly straightforward.
1-Year Limited Warranty. The switch comes with a 1-year limited warranty that protects you against issues related to manufacturing and material defects. This warranty has exclusions so read it in full before making your purchase.
Application. The Jeep Wrangler Long-Lead Mini Fuse Bypass Switch is designed to fit the 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ. CURT offers other versions of the switch with vehicle-specific specifications if you would like the same product for a different vehicle.
