Blacked Out Fender Emblem Accents. If your fender emblem’s chromed look is not your cup of tea then you need these Jeep Fender Emblem Letter Overlays in Gloss Black. These emblem overlays are crafted to accurately match your Wrangler’s “Jeep” fender emblem letters and feature a gloss black colorway. These factors allow these fender emblem overlays to easily change the style of your emblems. Additionally, these emblem letter overlays feature a tenacious multi-layer construction, enabling them to hide any scratches or dings your emblems might have.
Tenacious Build Quality. These decal overlays are made using a novel multi-layer process with a UV-treated clear resin top layer designed to keep the overlay resistant to fade and deterioration over time. Likewise, these fender overlays get their color from a middle layer made from tough gloss black vinyl sheets that are also engineered to be highly resistant to fading. Finally, these overlays include a base layer made from 3M adhesive film that seals off the middle layer against damage.
Convenient Install Procedure. Installing these letter overlays is a convenient peel-and-stick procedure thanks to its 3M automotive-grade adhesive base layer. Before installation, it is a good idea to first clean your emblem letters before wiping them down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol to improve adhesion. Also when installing these overlays during cold months, it is suggested that you first heat the mounting surface as the adhesive is more effective on warm surfaces. This can be done using a heat gun or hair dryer.
