      Description

      Improved Crankcase Ventilation. The PCV Breather Cap helps regulate airflow from the engine crankcase to ensure cleaner emissions and optimized oil control. Replacing a faulty or restricted cap improves internal pressure balance, reducing the chance of oil leaks, rough idle, or excessive sludge buildup in older engines.

      Reliable Factory Fit. Built to match original specifications, this cap installs easily into the valve cover using the factory grommet, with no modification needed. Its molded housing is resistant to oil and heat, providing a leak-free seal that supports proper Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) operation.

      Installation. Pushes into place using existing valve cover grommet; no tools required.

      Application. The Engine Crankcase Breather Cap with PCV Valve fits 1983–1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 models equipped with 4.2L engines.
