Description

This clutch uses its built-in heat-activated spring to turn the fan on and off depending on your Jeep’s engine temperature. Heat Expanding Spring Clutch Activation. This engine fan clutch utilizes a centrally mounted heat spring to engage and disengage itself from the engine fan. As the engine heats up, the spring expands and presses the clutch in position. When the engine is cold, the clutch stays out of the way and doesn’t run the fan to help the engine warm faster.
Aluminum Construction. This Jeep clutch is equipped with an aluminum body that’s durable and lightweight as well. This makes it easy for the spring to move the body to engage and disengage the cooling fan as needed.
