When a custom hitch is not available for your vehicle, CURT offers the multi-fit hitch. Designed to be the ultimate in versatility, CURT universal trailer hitches fit several different vehicle manufacturers, including Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Isuzu, Jeep, Mazda, Nissan, Plymouth and Toyota. The multi-fit hitch is a universally designed alternative to our custom hitches.

It provides a more affordable option and flexibility in installation. Very simply, a CURT multi-fit trailer hitch uses a sliding or adjustable frame to match the width of your vehicle's frame. In general, multi-fit hitches are used on mid-size and full-size pickup trucks and class 3 multi-fit trailer hitch features a gross trailer weight capacity of 5,000 lbs., a tongue weight capacity of 500 lbs. and a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, making it an excellent choice for towing utility trailers, single-horse livestock trailers, boat trailers and large campers, as well as cargo carriers and bike racks (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component). It comes with mounting hardware and instructions, and typically requires little or no drilling during installation.

• VERSATILE FIT. This particular hitch is compatible with select vehicles from Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Isuzu, Jeep, Mazda, Nissan, Plymouth and Toyota.
• STANDARD RECEIVER. This class 3 hitch equips your vehicle with a standard 2-inch x 2-inch hitch receiver, allowing for a wide variety of towing options. It can accept a ball mount, cargo carrier, bike rack, tow hook and much more.
• DEPENDABLE STRENGTH. This adjustable hitch receiver is rated for 5,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 500 lbs. tongue weight (limited to lowest-rated towing component)
• FULLY TESTED. The adjustable tow hitch design is tested at our Detroit engineering facility according to SAE J684 standards for the utmost safety and reliability while towing.
• RUST, CHIP, UV-RESISTANT. This universal trailer hitch is protected with a durable black powder coat finish for long-lasting resistance to rust, chipping and UV rays.
• Not compatible for use with vertical hanging bicycles (bike racks that require the bicycles to be hung / mounted vertically)
• Trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities.
