It's Joe from ExtremeTerrain. In this video, we're going over the Alterum Jeep logo embroidered seat covers, fitting all '87 to '18 YJs, TJs, and JKs. This is going to be a great option for the Jeep owner that's looking to provide some basic coverage over their front seats, something that's machine washable, and at the end of the day, very budget-friendly.Diving into these seat covers, what are they going to be made out of? Well, first thing's first, they are going to be made mostly out of polyester. That is exactly what you want to bead off water. You've got some nice white piping in there as a little bit of an accent, and these are also officially licensed by Jeep. They have that Jeep logo embroidered right in the headrest right there, front and center, looks right at home in any Wrangler. These also have a Urofoam backing in the back, little bit of extra foam in there just to make the long rides a little bit more comfortable. Now, for what these are, just a basic universal seat cover that's designed to give you a standard extra layer of protection, these are also going to keep your stuff from getting bleached by the sun. It's going to keep you from sticking to leather. It's going to bead off any water, and it's going to protect your seats from mud, dirt, that kind of thing. These do a good job. They have elastic on all corners here to try to give this as snug a fit as possible to any of the different seats. Again, this is a universal fit. And on top of that, it's also machine washable. You could take these off, throw them in the washing machine, have them dried out, put them right back on, and be good as new. Now, these are pretty much going to be as budget-friendly as it gets. These are definitely a step up from the beach towels you see on a lot of Jeep seats out there, and they're still going to remain really, really budget-friendly and you get some official Jeep licensing. You're only looking at about 60 bucks for the pair, and for what you're getting here, an extra layer of protection that has a little bit of extra added on top, that is definitely money well spent if you're looking for a basic seat cover.Install here is going to be really, really simple, definitely a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Should take you, at most, five minutes to get both sides done. There are no tools required. So, let me show you what it'll look like. All right, so I'm going to start the install on the passenger side. These aren't side-specific, so you can grab either cover in the box. And we're going to start by threading this on over the backrest. So, here's how this is going to attach. You have this sort of flap here underneath of the seat cover. On the sides, we have these little hooks. They're going to attach to the base of those strings like that, and these are going to go up and under the bottom rest and meet up at the front with these ones and hook in. So, what we're going to do is we're going to push those in between our cushions. So, now we have that pushed through, we're going to get this bottom portion sorted. It's a got a little bit of elastic, and that is just going to go around like so.Now we have to go around and attach all of this stuff. You're not going to see it, it's under the seat, but these are going to meet up with the ones directly in the back. And then, the ones on the sides are going to fold around and attach to those cords like that, but instead of the one in the front here, it's going to be the one in the back. So, I'm just going to reach under and do that. The clips on the side, they're going to pull back behind the seat and hook onto those ones that go directly underneath the back cushion. Now we can come over to the driver side, and we're going to hit the same exact thing. We're going to start by threading this over the back cushion. Now we can lift up the bottom cushion and push these two through. Pull that down, get the bottom started. And then, we can reach underneath and hook up those wires, and do the same thing on the sides too. That's going to do it for my review and install of the Alterum Jeep logo embroidered seat covers, fitting all '87 to '18 YJs, TJs, and JKs. As always, guys, thank you for watching. Keep it right here at ExtremeTerrain for all things Jeep.
