Heavy Duty Rear Driveshaft. The J.E. Reel Heavy Duty 1310 Rear Driveshaft is engineered to provide increased durability and strength for Jeep Wrangler JK models with mild off-road modifications. It replaces the factory rear driveshaft to better accommodate lifted suspensions and larger tire setups with improved reliability. This component efficiently transfers power from the transmission to the rear axle while handling the stresses of off-road driving.
Construction and Appearance. This driveshaft features 2.75-inch diameter tubing with a wall thickness of .083 inches, offering improved strength over stock parts. It includes high-quality 1310 U-joints and a cast U-bolt style yoke, with grade 8 hardware for durability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and comes with detailed instructions to help ensure proper fitment.
Application. This driveshaft fits 2012 to 2018 3.6L Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door models equipped with manual transmissions. It is designed for use with stock to 3.5-inch lift setups and supports tires up to 35 inches for mild off-road use. For lifts greater than 3.5 inches or tires over 35 inches, it is recommended to use a 1350 driveline. Long arm lifts or lifts above 4.5 inches require measuring driveline length to ensure correct fitment.
